maintain an unwavering commitment to using only ingredients determined safe for their intended use by credible third parties such as the Cosmetic Ingredient Review Expert Panel (CIR) in the USA and the Scientific Committee of Consumer Safety (SCCS) in Europe.

In addition, all MONAT formulations use ingredients that the FDA, Health Canada, and the more-strict European Commission consider “safe for their intended cosmetic purpose.”

We use safe colorants approved by the FDA, Health Canada, and the European Commission in the European Union.

We only use fragrances with ingredients approved as safe by the Research Institute for Fragrance Materials (RIFM) and the international Fragrance Association (IFRA).

The RIFM and the IFRA are the scientific authorities for the safe use of fragrances and fragrance materials found in personal care products worldwide.
We do not use any ingredients derived from animals or animal byproducts. We do not engage in animal testing, ever.
